We give you a first look at the upcoming Pro Model that Supra developed together with Terry Kennedy. These days it seems like, the higher the better with sneakers. With this style Supra goes higher up, than with their current flagship model – the Skytop. In this preview we show you a purple suede colorway of the sneaker and a black perforated colorway, both featuring a double velcro strap on the top. Via SF2.

The Only Expensive Sneakers Worth Your Dollar: Lanvin

It is just incredible what Lanvin has been able to achieve in recent years. They went from an old school, boring French luxury brand to being one of the most innovative brand in the market place. Recently we came across an article in a reputable fashion magazine with the title “How A Small French Fashion House Shows The Big Guys How To Do It”. We could not describe it better. For us their footwear remains to be amongst the most interesting, also because (believe us) its more affordable than the clothing.

Here are the latest new footwear styles from the Lanvin Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. They present their usual low top and high top sneakers in new colorways and introduce patent/leather deck shoes, as well as the new satin trainer with velvet trim. Once again a great choice of materials and fantastic new models.

A further look into Taka Hayashi’s work alongside Vans Vault reveals various new footwear styles from the acclaimed Japanese artist. Having already collaborated with the California-based company on solid 2008 campaigns, this new collection thrives on his tactical use of Native American and military surplus inspiration. The pack expected to be a Summer release will feature the No Quarter LX, Velocita LX, and Akat LX models in seven original colorways.

Anybody Need To Catch A Cab?? (For Tourist That Means Taxi)

This may be the only cab look-a-likes you can step in and not be committed to pay a toll! This Vans pack, featuring a Chukka and an Era, is subtle yet creative to say the least. Both sneakers both feature a leather/suede upper. Most of the leather is seen on the toe box and heel whereas the more-noticeable suede texture is seen on the side panels and ankle area.
